Some people celebrate the Tour as the toughest sporting test in the world. Please. These are terrific athletes, but they're not exactly cycling under stress.
Now, if they were pedaling away on crowded streets in which they had to dodge automotive traffic - think bicycle messengers in midtown Manhattan - then that would be impressive. Or if they had to deal with adverse weather conditions - think Iditarod Sled Dog Race - then that also would be impressive.
And it's not as if cycling is a contact sport. These guys don't need helmets as much as they need headphones.
Nur den Irakkrieg, den hätte er nicht auch noch ins Spiel bringen sollen. Setzen! Thema verfehlt.
